What a wonderful present Lady Gaga received. She broke down in tears on-stage after she was handed a plaque to mark the eight million copies of her album THE FAME sold in the last year (09).
The Poker Face singer was given an early Christmas present after hearing the news about her debut disc during her concert at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday (December 23, 2009).
She was embraced by her crew of back-up dancers as she stood in awe of the framed tribute, wiping away tears if joy for all her hard work.
She sobbed as she told the crowd, “I can’t believe my record came out a year ago and you guys bought eight million of them. You are the most wonderful fans. And thank you for making the girl who felt like a freak feel like she belongs.” You do belong and keep up the good work. We expect more of the same kind of music from her. Josh Duhamel, the ‘Transformers‘ actor – who has had a rocky first year of marriage with his Black Eyed Peas star wife, Fergie, following accusations of adultery and break-ups – says he wants nothing more than to spend time at home with her over the holiday period.  He said: “This Christmas I get to go home and we get to have a lot of time together so that’s nice. It’s my favorite time and she is everything to me. I can’t wait.”  Josh, 37, was accused of cheating on the singer while he was away filming action movies after a U.S. stripper claimed she met him when he turned up at the club she worked at, they swapped numbers and met up several days later.  Josh vehemently denied the rumors and Fergie later branded the claims as “ridiculous” and stood by her husband.
