Eva Longoria-Parker doesn’t like to diet. The ‘Desperate Housewives‘ star watches what she eats but does not stop herself from indulging in her favorite gut-busting Mexican dishes.
She said: “I am a big eater, but I do watch what I eat. I love to cook and just love Mexican food. It’s my weakness and any red meat, I just love it. “So I’d say Mexican food is my secret indulgence. Kate Hudson’s designer sofa was reportedly set on fire by a smoking partygoer. The ‘Bride Wars‘ actress was throwing a bash at her home in the exclusive Pacific Palisades district of Los Angeles for a large group of friends, when one of them accidentally set her couch alight with his cigarette. Guests were shocked when they saw flames coming out of the seat and quickly threw water over the expensive item and dragged it outdoors. The 30-year-old star was said to be fuming that one of her pals ignored her non-smoking rule. According to National Enquirer magazine, she said to the man: “If you had just smoked outside where I asked everyone to smoke, my couch wouldn’t have been damaged.”  However, Kate eventually softened after repeatedly apologised and offered to pay for any damages and repairs – which she declined. Kate has thrown a few parties at her luxurious home since she split from New York Yankees baseball player Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez in December. Penelope Cruz says winning an Oscar was like getting the best toy ever. The ‘Nine‘ star scooped the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress last year for her performance in ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ and admits receiving the gold statue was one of the happiest moments in her life. Penelope is proud to show off her prize at her home and once even took her Oscar to the beach. Now that is a bit too much. Evangeline Lilly was born in Canada, plays Kate Austen in Lost, a sweet but mysterious femme fatale who’s torn between good (Jack) and evil (Sawyer). The actress – who plays fugitive Kate Austen in the long-running drama – is currently filming the show’s ending but is clueless about the fate of the characters. She said: “I honestly have no idea what happens. They don’t tell us anything. I probably won’t know until I sit down and watch it with everyone else.” Evangeline, 30, also has no idea if Kate will pick Sawyer or Jack Shephard – played by Matthew Fox and Josh Holloway – to end their ongoing love triangle. She added: “How it ends up, we really don’t know. They’ll probably have Kate choose both of them!” Evangeline recently revealed she nearly turned down the role of Kate in ‘Lost’ because she thought the script was poor when she first read it. She said: “I kind of didn’t want it. I actually said, ‘That seems like a really (expletive) script’. Because we never saw the entire script, just little pieces. “It was a plane crash on a desert island, I thought, ‘Oh give me a break.’ ” Lilly had just a handful of small roles before getting her big break in Lost and the actress has since been nominated for a Golden Globe. Sad Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reportedly visited divorce lawyers to help them separate. This only  happens in Hollywood.  The pair – who aren’t married, but have been dating since 2004 and raise six children together – are believed to have signed legal documents earlier this month with the plan to split up in the near future. So much for family values and trying to work out there problems. The legal document will reportedly see their $330 million fortune halved in two, while the pair will have joint custody of their kids. A source told the News of the World newspaper: “The document was signed in early January. Both Brad and Angelina had signed it. The contract was like a tailor-made version of a pre-nuptial agreement except for an unmarried couple’s split. “It seemed clear they want the world to know they’ll both play a part in the upbringing of the children. But Angelina will actually be the one who lives with them full-time.” They have three adopted children, Maddox, eight, Pax, six, and Zahara, five, as well as three biological kids, Shiloh, three and 17-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne. It is believed the pair visited a top Los Angeles law firm in December last year, and have since hired an attorney specializing in celebrity divorces.
While an official separation date has not been confirmed, it has been claimed the couple plan to announce their split in the near future. Landlord M.R.A. Realties Inc. says in a lawsuit that Mischa Barton rebuffed efforts to collect the last three months’ worth of rent on her flat in the trendy Tribeca neighborhood in New York City. Barton’s representatives had no immediate response. The landlord wants Barton to pay the rent and legal fees.The 23-year-old Barton also lives in Los Angeles. The lawsuit filed Thursday says her one-year lease on the Manhattan apartment began in September. At the time, she was in “The Beautiful Life,” a CW series about the New York modeling world.
