Amy Adams, the “Leap Year” actress – who is currently expecting her first child – says she knew almost straight away actor Darren Le Gallo was the one for her but it was six years before he finally popped the question.  She said: “I knew that I wanted to marry him after about three dates, but it was six years before he proposed. In the second year especially, I really, really, really wanted to be engaged to him. But he was just taking his time. Eventually, I adopted the philosophy that he wasn’t ready and I wasn’t in a hurry, so I knew that it would be worth the wait.” Although Darren wasn’t in a hurry to propose, Amy knew it was going to happen because they had already discussed marriage.  She told the Independent newspaper: “I trusted that it would happen eventually because we communicated our intentions with one another. It wasn’t as if I was waiting in the dark. There have been cases when I have worked for a long time on films away from home and he has sacrificed so much to come visit me and keep our lives together. All I had to do was be patient and understanding.” And so she has, we wish her good luck.

The 30-year-old star was said to be fuming that one of her pals ignored her non-smoking rule. According to National Enquirer magazine, she said to the man: “If you had just smoked outside where I asked everyone to smoke, my couch wouldn’t have been damaged.”  However, Kate eventually softened after repeatedly apologised and offered to pay for any damages and repairs – which she declined. Kate has thrown a few parties at her luxurious home since she split from New York Yankees baseball player Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez in December. A week before Christmas, Kate invited a host of her celebrity pals over to get in the festive mood. Sad Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reportedly visited divorce lawyers to help them separate. This only  happens in Hollywood.  The pair – who aren’t married, but have been dating since 2004 and raise six children together – are believed to have signed legal documents earlier this month with the plan to split up in the near future. So much for family values and trying to work out there problems. The legal document will reportedly see their $330 million fortune halved in two, while the pair will have joint custody of their kids. A source told the News of the World newspaper: “The document was signed in early January. Both Brad and Angelina had signed it. The contract was like a tailor-made version of a pre-nuptial agreement except for an unmarried couple’s split. “It seemed clear they want the world to know they’ll both play a part in the upbringing of the children. But Angelina will actually be the one who lives with them full-time.” They have three adopted children, Maddox, eight, Pax, six, and Zahara, five, as well as three biological kids, Shiloh, three and 17-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne. It is believed the pair visited a top Los Angeles law firm in December last year, and have since hired an attorney specializing in celebrity divorces.
While an official separation date has not been confirmed, it has been claimed the couple plan to announce their split in the near future.
